By creating an account, authenticating via Google OAuth, or otherwise accessing any portion of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Lakeside + Little Ones is a digital platform providing curated local activity guides, restaurant recommendations, event listings, and family-oriented content for the North Shore Lake Tahoe and Truckee, California regions. The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
All content is compiled from publicly available sources including business websites, government databases, tourism board publications, community calendars, and other public information. The Company does not claim ownership of third-party content and makes no representations regarding its accuracy.
No business, organization, or individual has any legal right or entitlement to inclusion in the Service, nor any right to continued inclusion. The Company may establish and modify criteria for inclusion without disclosure. No claim for damages or injunctive relief shall arise from any inclusion or exclusion decision.
Inclusion of any business or content does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or approval by the Company. The Company does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any listed business or activity.
Access requires authentication via Google OAuth. By authenticating, you authorize the Company to collect data as described in Section 5. You are responsible for all activity under your account. The Company may terminate or suspend accounts at any time, with or without cause.
Recipients may include data brokers, advertising networks, tourism boards, local and national businesses, market research firms, and investors. Data sold or shared may include your name, email, home city, behavioral event data, intent scores, session metadata, and weather-correlated engagement data.
California residents have the right to: (1) know what personal information is collected; (2) delete personal information; (3) correct inaccurate information; (4) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; (5) limit use of sensitive personal information; and (6) non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To opt out of the sale of your data: Email chris.a.eggers@gmail.com with subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Requests processed within 15 business days.
The Service uses session-based tracking and server-side event logging to automatically record your interactions — including navigation, map opens, phone taps, and search queries — without additional notice at the point of each interaction. By using the Service, you consent to this collection.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. The Company does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. For users 13–15, data will not be sold without affirmative opt-in consent.
This Agreement is governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Placer County, California, administered by JAMS. You waive your right to participate in class action litigation.
